Yesterday was mostly raining all day, so we couldn’t to do much outside. I went for an hour and a half walk in the rain by myself and it was sooo relaxing. I walked down by the river, through the city, and watched the ducks at our park for a while. To my surprise there was actually a lot of people walking out in the rain. As long as you have an umbrella it’s safe! 🙂 Later in the day, it stopped raining and got beautiful out, so Matthew and I went for a walk in the park, parque de Ferderico Garcia Lorca. Such a wonderful place!
Yesterday we also got two boys from France who will live with us for five days. They are 16 and 15 years old. They aren’t here for school, but are traveling with a group and have activities planned everyday they are here. I didn’t know that Marisa would get more students when we are here, but I guess so. It’s okay by me, because we can learn about more countries. They know a little Spanish but they said they know English pretty well. In five days when they leave, we are getting a girl in our house for a week.
No class today, because yesterday was a holiday, Dia de la Hispanidad!
