I mostly studied all day today! We have learned so many tenses these past few weeks and I am getting nervous for this test next week. I think it will be the hardest one yet! November has flown by so fast, I can’t believe that next week level 4 is over, then only two and a half weeks of the semester left. Wow, time flew!! I think I’ve been away from home long enough now that I am starting to miss things about home. I LOVE Granada, the food, the people, my friends, and school….but there are so many things about home I’m starting to miss! I miss my friends and my family, but so thankful I get to talk to them on a regular basis. I love seeing pictures and stories on Facebook, seeing what everyone back home is up too. And I miss my puppies, Rico and Bailey! 🙂 And FOOD!! I love love love Marisa’s cooking, and want to cook a lot of Spanish food when I return, but I do miss a lot of food I usually eat in Minnesota. Number one is definitely all the Asian food I am used to eating. My mom’s side of the family back home cooks so much amazing food, and SPICY, I miss it! This is one of my favorite dishes to eat back home, an Asian noodle soup called pho. I do wish they had it here in Spain. My two sisters and I usually have “sister dates” where we go out to lunch to eat it. When I get back home, I want this to be one of the first things I eat 🙂 Another thing I will miss is being together for the holidays. I am very glad that my sister and her boyfriend will be here for New Years, but I will miss Thanksgiving, the delicious food, and Christmas! Here in Granada, our group is actually going out to eat dinner for Thanksgiving day…possibly to eat American cuisine? I think it’s a surprise!
I’m saying I miss things from Minnesota now, but I know that when I am back in Minnesota there will be so many I miss about Granada. Goes both ways 🙂
