Hola, a todos!
Today was a busy day with a midterm test, oral exam, and then getting ready for the final on Tuesday! This three week long class thing is crazy–but totally worth it. After class today we had a briefing on our excursion for this weekend! We’re headed to go see waterfalls and volcanoes with no wifi, so don’t be too concerned if you don’t hear from me until Sunday night!
After that Heidi and I walked home for lunch. I did some homework really quick, tried to take care of my blog for yesterday but the wifi has been PAINFULLY slow. At about 1:45 Heidi and I met outside again to walk up to the university to meet with our fellow Sol-Mates for our dance class at 2!
I was incredible excited because while I can’t dance to save my life–I love to dance. We met up with everyone and then walked to a gym in the Miraflores neighborhood. Oso of course accompanied us on the walk and participated in the dance class! (And by that I mean he slept in the middle of the gym while we all tried to dance around him without stepping on him) Once at the gym we talked and stretched while we waited for our instructor. Finally he arrived, and it was time to get down to business. We learned five different dances between about 2:20 and 4:20 and it was quite frankly sweaty and exhausting but so much fun.
Like I said, I am by no means a good dancer–but I was trying to have fun. So enjoy these pics of my Sol-Mates and I dancing the afternoon away and me trying not to embarrass myself too much!
